BAND OF THE DAY #89 - ARMS

ARMS began in 2004 as the side-project of 26-year-old Brooklyn based Todd Goldstein, Harlem Shakes guitarist, who was quietly self-releasing his own music whenever he had the spare time to do so. But once Harlem Shakes disbanded in 2009, ARMS escalated into what it is today, that’s with the addition of Tlacael Esparza on drums, Matty Fasano on bass/vocals and David Harrington on keyboards/electronics. Following a breakthrough on the blogosphere they soon released their full-band debut “Summer Skills” on Manchester label Melodic, featuring 13 tracks showcasing their ambient sounds which are lo-fi yet melodic, accompanied by Goldstein’s passionate vocals.
