BAND OF THE DAY #113 - Slow Down, Molasses



Slow Down, Molasses are a 9-piece folk-pop collective from the Canadian prairie city of Saskatoon. Their second full length release “Walk Into The Sea” debuted in March last year, followed by an extensive Canadian tour, and eventually a hugely successful tour of the UK, filling out venues in Oxford, Cardiff and London.

As you can imagine with 9 musicians (16 in total to record the album), their music is richly layered, combining the use of orchestral elements with impressive harmonies from their lead vocalists.
