BAND OF THE DAY #126 - Yukon Blonde


Indie folk-rock band Yukon Blonde hail originally from Kelowna, British Columbia. The trio, now based in Vancouver is signed to Nevado Records, after putting a hefty collection of songs to use, most of which were written in the back of a van while on the road, to make up for their broken radio. Their earthy upbeat sound was recorded live to tape, a true testimony to their musicianship, and their choruses are catchy with their harmonies just as solid.

If you’re in London this week you can catch them on Wednesday 15th at the Brixton Windmill and at Old Queen’s Head in Islington the following night. And be on the lookout for their new album due sometime this spring.
