Yann Tambour is a French songwriter otherwise known as Stranded Horse. His songs are structured around both delicate acoustic guitar and the ‘kora’, a 21-string instrument from west Africa. His melancholy vocals flitter between English and French, laced with influences of Normandy folk music.

“Humbling Tides” is the second full album from Stranded Horse, featuring this beautiful cover of The Smiths’ “What Difference Does It Make”.
