BAND OF THE DAY #135 - Owlle


Nobody can dispute the fact that the French sure know how to create catchy pop tunes and to back that statement up, we introduce Owlle. Self described as ‘dreampop’, Owlle creates up beat, melodic tunes sometimes with contrasting dark lyrics but no matter the subject, the melody is bound to engrave itself in your mind. Only at the very beginning of her career, she is already being compared to the likes of Lykke Li and Bat For Lashes, although her most recent tune ‘Like A Bow’ is comparable to the likes of former TGE guest Katy B.
